Dear SSC Families,
We want to share an important update regarding tryouts for the coming Fall 2026-Spring 2027 soccer season, which includes new youth soccer age-group formations beginning this Fall.
Youth soccer across the country has adopted a new age-group cycle that runs from August 1 to July 31. However, our priority for the 2026–2027 season is to maintain as much continuity as possible for our players with existing teams. We will review individual situations where a different age-group placement may better support a player’s development. No player will be forced into a specific age group against their or their family’s wishes during this transition. We believe that stability in teammates, coaching, and development plays an important role in long-term growth.
